Nightly 35.0a1 (2014-09-21) • Adblock Plus

How to reproduce

  1. Click the Adblock Plus icon and choose Filter Preferences.
  2. Click the Filter Subscriptions tab.
  3. Click the Add Filter Subscription button.
  4. Click the "Add a different subscription" link.

Observed behavior

Clicking either "Add Filter Subscription" or "Add a different subscription" opens a list that isn't exhaustive. For example, it's missing some key subscriptions like Malware Domains. Reminder: this subscription is showcased on the Features page.

Expected behavior

The list should display all known subscriptions.

Alternatively, there should be a link to the Known Subscriptions page instead of the little subscription window that tries to be helpful. Honestly, I never understood why this window even exists at all. I find it significantly more difficult to locate something in that tiny window than the web page. For one thing, on web pages I can press Ctrl+F to quickly find what I'm interested in.

Not a duplicate. The issue you are referring to is about Chrome/Opera/Safari. This one is about Firefox.

Looks by design, see

if (node.getAttribute("type") != "ads" || node.getAttribute("deprecated") == "true")

So only ad blocking subscriptions will be shown, or it's up to ABP developers to change their mind

  • Platform changed from Firefox/Firefox Mobile to Firefox

Made Firefox and Firefox mobile available as seperate platforms.

Mass-closing all bugs in Adblock Plus for Firefox module, the codebase of Adblock Plus 3.0 belongs into Platform and User-Interface modules. Old bugs are unlikely to still apply.
