Description
The Youtube app crashes randomly with the following message:
An error occured
Touch to retry
I am using a WiFi connection and ABP set as proxy on localhost:2020.
Environment
Android v4.4.2
Phone GT-I9505
Kernel 3.4.0-3162654
ABP v1.2.1.354
YoutubeApp v10.05.6
How to reproduce
- Start Youtube app and search a playlist with at least 10 videos (~1-3 min. each);
- Start playing the list;
- After 3 to 5 videos the application will crash with "An error occured" message;
Observed behaviour
You have to restart the WiFi connection or wait 1-2 minutes (without restarting WiFi) before the Youtube app can work again. The crash will appear even if you are not playing a playlist, but using the playlist you experience the crash every time.
If I turn off the proxy setting in my WiFi I have no issues with the Youtube app, it works every time - left it for hours on different playlists and no crash.
