Environment

OS: Windows 7
Browser version: Chrome 37.0.2062.124
ABP version: 1.8.10

How to reproduce

  1. Make sure to be within chinese IP regions
  2. Click the ABP icon
  3. Click "Options"
  4. Click the "Update now" button

Observed behaviour

Next to the displayed filter lists, it shows "Download failed"

Expected behaviour

Filters are supposed to be downloaded after clicking "update now"

Vi Vicky, as discussed last week already, this seems to affect just a sub-set of Chinese users, and even those just occasionally. Thus I've lowered the priority of this ticket for now.

Can you please check back with the reporters and ask for more information? The region they live in, for example. In fact some other user-feedback suggests that this might be attributed to allegedly quite common and well-known network issues with the region-specific ISPs.
