Description (last modified by kvas)

Background

In order to improve the re-usability of our code, we want to export some of the more general functionality of module sitescripts into a distinct, more abstract Python package abp. This would become a library that sitescripts code can use and that can be used by any Python code that works with filter lists (for example FOP.py script that is used for optimising filter lists could be ported to it).

The initial content of the module would be the basic filter list parsing logic, and the filter list rendering script that can combine filter lists in a similar but more general way to combineSubscriptions.py script.

What to change

Set up the Mercurial repository and Git mirroring for the new package. Populate it with initial content: the filter list parsing library and the script that renders filter lists (see sub-tickets for details).
