Description

When the user wants to sync a Firefox account to ABB for Android, they are displayed with two options. One with the logo of ABB and one with the logo of Firefox, but both have exactly the same wording. It would make more sense to define ABB's option so that the user can understand more clearly (not only via the ABB logo), that they are in fact syncing their Firefox account for ABB.

It was mentioned that this could be related to an issue previously with Firefox 40, but this was observed on both Firefox 40 and Firefox 45 on Android 5.0 with a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Environment

Firefox 40, 45
ABB 1.1.1
Samsung Galaxy S5
Android 5.0

How to reproduce

  1. Install version 40 or 45 of Firefox
  2. Install ABB 1.1.1
  3. Navigate to Settings - Accounts - Add Account
  4. Scroll to section displayed in screenshot

Observed behaviour

Duplications of 'Firefox' (one with the ABB icon and one with the Firefox icon).
Duplications of 'Firefox Sync (deprecated)' (One with the ABB icon and one with the Firefox icon).

Expected behaviour

The wording of both options of ABB should reflect more clearly that you are syncing your Firefox account to ABB.
