What to change

If the device is running Android 6.0 (API level 23) or higher, and the app's targetSdkVersion is 23 or higher:

  • Under Settings -> TBD show a new button as shown in [this screenshot] (TBD).
  • Under Settings -> TBD -> TBD show...
    • A headline as shown [this screenshot] (TBD).
    • A list of active/inactive app permissions as shown in [this screenshot] (TBD).
      • If an inactive permission is tapped, show Android's default notification to enable this permission. Update the list of permissions after the notification was closed.
      • If an active permission is tapped, open the Android permission settings for ABB. Update the list of permissions after the user returns to ABB.

Copy

  • Headline: TBD

Copy

  • [Icon of inactive permissions] (TBD)

  • Resolution set to rejected
  • Status changed from new to closed

Closing this since ABP only utilizes default permissions (mobile data, wifi availability, mobile data availability) which can't be revoked by the user. As long as we don't use any special permissions – which can be revoked – there's no need for a feature like this.
