# Flattr Community Manager

We create software that puts users in control over their online browsing experience. Our products, such as Adblock Plus, Adblock Browser and Flattr, help sustain and grow a fair, open web, because they give users control while providing user-friendly monetization. Our multi-cultural team wants to change the Internet for the better, and you can become an important part of it. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building a Flattr community, engaging the right people, the right content creators and the right publishers, and bringing Flattr into the spotlight. 

### Responsibilities 

- Create a Flattr community - for creators and for contributors 
- Should build, evolve and maintain communities 
- Offline and online tasks: run Facebook groups, forums, events, offer support and attention to promoters, content creation for user promotion, reach out to power users, etc. 
- You will start, design and execute your strategy to the market. Autonomy is key. 
- The successful candidate must create a strong community to make Flattr self-sustained on the market  

### What we expect

- An evangelist, an advocate, a person who can engage and partner with our early users 
- Previous experience with early community building of a new product 
- Experience in targeting power users and early adopters 
- Previous experience in the tech industry
- Great communication skills, natural networker, influencer and passionate about our product 
- Ability to promote our product to the tech community in a clear and natural manner 
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Looking for candidates in Berlin, or candidates willing to relocate to Berlin
