Description (last modified by kzar)

Environment

Adblockplus for Edge, version 0.9.11

How to reproduce

Uninstall the extension.

Observed behaviour

The query-string parameters provided (keys and values) are all lower case.

Expected behaviour

The query-string parameters (keys and values) are unchanged, e.g.,

  • addonName instead of addonname,
  • addonVersion instead of addonversion,
  • applicationVersion instead of applicationversion,
  • platformVersion instead of platformversion,
  • notificationDownloadCount instead of notificationdownloadcount,

but also

  • lang=en-GB instead of lang=en-gb

Background

This breaks consistent log parsing and reduces comparability.

I've not looked into this yet, but it sounds possible that it's a bug in Microsoft Edge. If so, we might be a bit stuck, other than to report the problem to Microsoft.

I've looked into it, it really is a Microsoft bug. I've filled an issue.
