Background

We are created a Help Center for all support information. See help.eyeo.com 1.x Wiki

The Getting Started page on adblockplus.org will no longer be needed as the content will be moved there.

We once decided that "assigned" issues mean, one is actually working at them right now, which for this here is not really true. Please filter issues related to the adblockplus.org website contents by the keyphrase "adblockplus.org content" and assign them to yourself once you are at the specific issue.

I have updated all of this information and added the missing platforms. The idea was to have the help center up and running (containing the updated information) so this page (and other outdated pages on adblockplus.org) could be deleted/removed. Since the help center is still on hold, I'm not sure what we should do here. It is a bit counterintuitive to update the current text on adblockplus.org and then delete it in a month or so (pending that the help center is up and running). However, if we aren't doing anything with the help center within the next month or so, I'd like to see the text on adblockplus.org updated.

@lisa is the description in this issue still valid?

I think we should fix this before we release help center.

yes, it's still valid. Nearly all of the info on the "Getting Started" page is incorrect (outdated). I've updated everything, but haven't changed the page (was waiting for the help center to go live). All of the new info is in the MD files on Dropbox.

Hi Ire, if it were up to me, I'd say to close it because this page will no longer exist once the help center is live.

Thanks Lisa. Yes I think Jeen mentioned that would be the plan. So I will just update this ticket to reflect that the page should be removed, rather than updated.
