Save daily stats data in addition to monthly files

Description
Background
The download stats processor will currently aggregate and save data for an entire month. This makes it hard to investigate daily fluctuations.
What to change
In addition to monthly data, store a separate stats file for each day as well.

I suppose this ticket has been long superceeded by whatever the data team has put in place. I will therefore close it. Let me know if this is an error and we'll see where it should be moved.
