Description
Common rack hardware modules, such as the Office/XEN server (office1.eyeo.intern), do not fit into our in-house server rack. The latter's depth is not sufficient, but can be extended.
What to change
We need to remove the back frame door (the hinges can be disassembled), relocate the cable harnesses behind to either left or right side, and optimize the wiring where applicable.

Rather than playing bob the builder; we've decided to follow an alternative path that does not lead to the potential destruction of the Clusterhaus: We've rotated the server by 90 degree in it's Z-axis before mounting.
