YouTube playlists don't play the next video without manually switching to the playlist tab

Environment
Mac OS X 10.10.1, Safari 8.0.2, ABP 1.8.10 (Although was happening at least several ABP versions before this one). EasyList + Malware Domains.
How to reproduce
- Play a YouTube playlist with autoplay on
- Open a different tab and surf to your heart's content
- Wait until the currently playing video is finished
Observed behaviour
The tab loads the next video on the playlist's webpage without playing the video.
Upon clicking the tab, the video starts playing.
Expected behaviour
After the video's webpage has loaded, the video should start playing without having to switch to the tab.

I'm closing all issues related to the legacy Safari extension, as it has been discontinued in favor of an App Extension that doesn't share any code with the old extension.
