Environment
Windows 7 64 bit
Maxthon 4.4.4.1100
How to reproduce
- Install Maxthon 4.4.4.1100
- At the end of the installer, click the "Launch now!" button as shown in the attached image
- Browse to http://spiegel.de
Observed behaviour
Adblock Plus is not displayed as enabled when clicking its status bar icon and no ads are blocked. When opening the Adblock Plus options, no filter list is displayed as chosen.
Expected behaviour
Adblock Plus should be enabled by default for the international build of Maxthon.

It's not enabled on my Win 7 x64 system with exactly the same Maxthon version.

Not enabled by default on Windows 8.0 32 bit after installation without setting it as default browser. However, not reproducible if trying multiple times.

Closing this issue. Still haven't been able to reproduce.
@Phill: If you think this issue should remain open, please do so. I just haven't seen any evidence that this is actually an issue.

This is fixed, confirmed in 4.4.4.1200-beta-c
