Description (last modified by jobp)
Adapted from https://www.passbrains.com/dashboard/view-ticket.php?ticket_no=MAX-61
Environment
Windows + Vista 64bit + Maxthon + English
How to reproduce
- Open Maxthon Browser and load any website.
- Click on ABP icon and select " Adblock Plus Options" -> Whitelisted domains.
- Try to enter *.com and observe.
Test configuration :
Windows Vista 64 Bit
Maxthon Browser Beta
Build version : V4.4.4.1400
Observed behaviour
A pop comes up and does not allows *.com to be added as whitelisted domain.
See screenshot.
Expected behaviour
Domains with wildchar shall be allowed in whitelisting like *.com etc.
Otherwise if user wants to disable ABP for specific domains its not possible. User needs to enter specific websites to whitelist.
The name of the feature is whitelisted domains not whitelisted websites.

Reproduced.
Chrome allows domains with wildchars to be added to the white list. Maxthon currently rejects it.
