Description

According to the requirements document from TA, we need to provide them with a Windows Server system where they can install their aQrate BusinessPRO printing software.

I checked with their technical contact (Dennis Orthaus) and even though it's not in their original requirements doc, it is OK to use XEN as hypervisor and Windows Server 2012 R2 as OS.

HW requirements are specified as following:
min. 4 GB RAM, min. 50 GB free HDD space, CPU: mind. 2 GHz Dual Core, min. 100 MBit/s LAN

Changed firewall rules:
From LAN (192.168.1.0/24) ONLY the LPR port TCP/515 needs to be open/reachable.
And optionally the AQrate admin web interface via SSL on TCP/8090.
The other ports only need to be open locally / between the copy machine and the AQrate server.

  • Verified working unset

Now that we decided to go with the new copy machine / printer from Triumph Adler, we need to convert the Windows 2012 server evaluation license into a real / permanent one.

Therefor I opened an order ticket for it.
