Description
Background
Some Apps do not work well with ABP, and for good reason. Historically, users can easily thumb the menu and disable it via the button. While this works, I would like to request the integration with Tasker Via a Broadcast Receiver for ABP.
This would allow users to build a custom "whitelist". Alternatively it would allow for voice activation/deactivation of ABP using a host of other 3rd party plugins such as AutoVoice
What to change
I'm not a developer, but, I think you just add the Brodcast Receiver to the package, provide a few options via bits 0 = Off, 1 = Start, 2 = Restart and they would essentially and respectively shut the service off as if you slid the slider to "off". Start the service as is you slid the slider to "on". Stop then start the service.
Currenntly, I can start the service just fine by issuing the command "am startservice org.adblockplus.android/.ProxyService". However, i cannot currently stop it without killing it, which doesn't reset things properly and it breaks on my end.
