Description
Background
urlfixer.org is currently a collection of static HTML files on an unmanaged server. It's only a few pages but unmaintainable even in that form.
What to change
Use our CMS like we do it for eyeo.com already - create an overall template for the pages and use localizable Markdown for the content. Use the web module for our infrastructure repository to set up a standard server for it.
Some custom configuration will be necessary - multiplexer.fcgi is listening under /submitData and needs a database to write to ([urlfixer] section of sitescripts.ini).

It is, particularly with the unmanaged server in question being dead. The current content is stored in the www.urlfixer.org repository (not readable via web but I gave you access) and it would be great to restore at least that.

@Julian: If you can add that content to eyeo.com or abp.org somewhere, let us know the URL and we'll add a DNS record for redirecting urlfixer.org there.

Actually, given the latest news I started wondering whether it makes sense to revive urlfixer.org at all. I'm not sure it is possible to port URL Fixer to WebExtensions even if we invested the effort.
@fhd: Do you think it still makes sense to invest time here?

No, I think we should rather shut it down for good. I'll look into that.

Well, the site has been down for months already...

- Resolution set to rejected
- Status changed from new to closed
Is this still relevant?
I don't know what to do with this ticket.
