Our current Discourse instance doesn't support Google's OAuth2 and Google OpenID has been disabled.

Update to the most recent Discourse version.

@trev: If I read the review correctly, it was 'Patch Set 2' that got committed and pushed to the repo. I suggest we close this ticket now and open a new ticket for the remaining work if needed (not sure if it is seeing how Discourse is moving towards Docker).

Agreed - resolving as fixed given that #4234 is going to remove most of this code anyway.
