An implementation detail, so that you're not surprised later in testing: there is no issue with finding out to what country (locale) has the user set his phone. What we don't know though, where the phone is physically located. So when the chinese user goes abroad, Baidu will still be selected as default (if it's even possible to use a chinese phone abroad?). Also vice versa, when the foreign user comes to China, DDG/Google will still be attempted to be used.

by pavelz (wrognly spamblocked):
Vicky, we need this translated for both simplified (China) and traditional (Taiwan).
"Baidu"
as a name of autocomplete provider (next to "Google" and "DuckDuckGo") - if it's even translated?
"Baidu search"
In the same sense as "DuckDuckGo search", that is a header of autocomplete suggestion section. I was going to make up "Baidu" followed by whatever chinese characters i find in the existing translation for "DuckDuckGo" but then i found out that "DDG search" and "Google search" have completely different translations, so i better ask.
It will be left untranslated for all languages outside chinese. There is not enough time for a complete Crowdin roundtrip.

Hey Pavelz, here you go:
Baidu = 百度 (simplified), 百度(traditional)
Baidu search = 百度搜索 (simplified,) 百度搜索(traditional)
and FYI, Google also has its name in Chinese as 谷歌(google) and 谷歌搜索(google search), while there is nothing specific for Duckduckgo.
