Description (last modified by sven)
Background
There is no way to clear browsing data like cache, cookies and site data.
What to change
Create a settings item called "Clear Browsing Data", which leads to a selection of things that could be cleared by the user. There should be four options for now:
- Clear History
- Clear Cache
- Clear Cookies & Site Data
- Clear All
The color of an option is created with the standard iOS blue for text buttons. After one of these options is clicked, a standard pop-up should appear and ask if this action is intended.
Headline: "Clear [selected option name]"
Text: "Are you sure you want to clear [selected option name]? This action cannot be undone."
In addition there are two buttons "Clear" (left and red) and "Cancel" (right and blue). The "Clear" button takes action after clicking and removes the selected data. The "Cancel" button leads you to the "Clear Browsing Data" again and makes the pop-up disappear.

Suggesting to:
Change the string from:
Are you sure you want to clear [selected option name]?
to:
Are you sure you want to perform this task?
That way, double translations, etc. are eliminated.

This counts for Clear History, Clear Cache, Clear Cookies & Site Data, but not for Clear All. Feel free to modify the wording in this issue.

The concluded wording is
This action cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to continue?
with
Continue/Cancel

This requirement is not implemented yet: "The color of an option is created with the standard iOS blue for text buttons."

I'm afraid that tapping on the option "Clear Cookies & Site Data" and confirming the action, causes the app to be killed which, obviously, shouldn't be expected.
This is reproducible 100% on an iPhone 5s with iOS 8.4.1 and only when there is History available.
