Description
Environment
Windows 7 64-bit. IE v11.0.9600.18059. adblockplus v1.5
How to reproduce
Set your adblockplus for IE to read/update the filter from a file
like url=file://C:/privacy&ads/etard_ad_blocklist.txt
Observed behaviour
This works fine in FireFox just not IE :(
Expected behaviour
The patterns.ini in IE will not update from a file
like url=file://C:/privacy&ads/etard_ad_blocklist.txt
but in FireFox it works fine. I do it this way becasue I'm always adding new things to my filter list and because you Devs have not given us Internet Explorer users a real IU, there is no easy way for me to update the patterns.ini with out closing out all my IE windows.
so the only way for me to update my patterns.ini is to have it pull from a file instead of a url. this works fine in FireFox so make it work in IE :P
