Description (last modified by mapx)

Environment

Huawei Ascend P6 - rooted -
Android 4.2.2
WLAN disabled all the time
ABP with root installation on 3G (filters working well)

ABP dev build 319 installed, stable build same behavior

How to reproduce

  1. Install ABP on Android
  2. set ABP to autostart at startup of phone
  3. app notifications: disabled
  4. set ABP preferences: filter update = manual (or periodic & only WLAN)
  5. do not use the browser (or internet at all) for some days

Observed behaviour

ABP will update the filter lists and create traffic this way even if the update is set to manual AND the browser or email not used at all. Same applies, if the updates are set to only WLAN.

Expected behaviour

ABP should not automatically update the filters when set to manual or only WLAN mode.

  • Priority changed from Unknown to P2
  • Ready set

I was able to observe this, too at my Nexus 7 after some days of waiting with the setting "manual".
