Summary of Basecamp: deciding about whether to present the failures

  1. as soon as possible in a blocking manner (popup)
  2. concentrated in some UI place for the user to inspect

further B options:
B1. paste into each subscription-downloading UI control in form of some clickable warning icon
B2. concentrate errors of all download kinds in one place, a newly introduced screen

Effort assessment:

Eyeo 50% : provide functions in api.js to query the errors (supposing the errors are already recorded somewhere in the extension). Provide design for the error displaying.

Salsita 50% : call the api.js queries, construct and populate the UI
