Description (last modified by saroyanm)
Background
We would like to provide ability to our users easily reinstall adblockplus in case they change their minds, or uninstalled accidentally through re-installation button.
Furthermore, we know that users uninstall ABP in favor of another adblockers, but we don't know which one they choose instead.
What to change
Add Re-installation button as shown in the current attachment and have current text next to it -> "Did you uninstall Adblock Plus by accident?"
When user select "I found better ad blocking software." show a selectbox below with current options: "AdBlock", "uBlock", "uBlock Origin", "Ghostery" and "other". If user choose "other" new input box should appear next to the select box where users will be able to input value.

Question about Reinstall button:
What suppose the Reinstall Button do ?
Reinstall the ABP for Chrome/Opera, or redirect to the adblockplus.org homepage ?
Question about new field:
Do we expect them specify longer answer besides of mentioning the name of the new Adblocker ? If so maybe it makes more sense, to change the Please specify which software you chose to Please specify which software you chose and why ? That way we can justify the usage of Textarea instead of inputbox.
Note: If we are going to install directly from Uninstallation page then we need to specify different links for installation according to the "application" information passed to the page (ex.: Chrome and Opera).

Reinstall ABP for Chrome/Opera. AdBlock has a small window that appears once a user clicks the reinstall button, something like that would be nice for ABP, too. Also, we'd need to log the clicks on the reinstall button.

After talking to Aaron, we'd rather go for an inputbox with a couple of predefined inputs to choose from. I'd suggest "AdBlock", "uBlock", "uBlock Origin", "Ghostery" and "other".

You are suggesting design change, please note that design changes needs to be aligned with designers as well, also we need to define the window in that case, if it's not a browser Window (I assume you didn't mean browser window), than we will not be able to track the click we are not tracking user behavior on the website, it's also do not comply with our privacy, so what I can suggest to do is that we can redirect user to the homepage in that case user referrer which is specified in our Privacy Policy will be available.
What you think will that work for you ?

I think you meant select box ? If so - what is the behavior of "other" element ? Should that show input box where users can insert write down the name of the product ?

Redirecting is perfectly fine.

Yes, I meant a select box. The "other" element should indeed be an input box where users can write down the name of the product.
