Description (last modified by philll)

Environment

Win Seven or XP SP3 (french), ABP 2.6 with SeaMonkey 2.26 with any list of filters
Win 7 Enterprise, Seamonkey 2.25, ABP 2.6.0.3804

How to reproduce

  1. Launch SeaMonkey wit ABP enabled and measure the time needed
  2. Launch SeaMonkey wit ABP disabled and measure the time needed

Observed behaviour

With ABP enabled, the launch of Seamonkey takes on average twice as long. On the second environment mentioned round about 4 instead of 2 seconds.
Rolled back to ABP 2.5.1 to fix that trouble.

Expected behaviour

ABP should not provide acknowledgable delay to the startup of Seamonkey.

  • Resolution set to rejected
  • Status changed from new to closed

Mass-closing all bugs in Adblock Plus for Firefox module, the codebase of Adblock Plus 3.0 belongs into Platform and User-Interface modules. Old bugs are unlikely to still apply.
