Description
Background
When redesigning the Adblock Plus logo and its icons, one of the goals was to comply with the WCAG 2.0 guidelines (see Logo improvements 2014 under "Colors"). As pointed out by a forum member though, it may still be problematic for some to distinguish the toolbar icon's "enabled" from its "disabled" state.
Therefore it seems that while we optimized every icon state to comply with the guidelines, we didn't consider contrasts between two states. So while it's likely unreasonable to expect to change the color scheme of the base logo, rethinking the colors of its "disabled" state might be sufficient.
What to change
Investigate options for helping color blind users better distinguish toolbar icon states.
