Description (last modified by juliandoucette)

Background

There is currently no way to tell the difference between an AAC member blog post and an eyeo blog post in the Acceptable Ads blog.

What to change

  • Add a category label underneath the blog post title
    • Existing categories are Committee News and Acceptable Ads News
  • Add an author organization badge beside author name

Replying to juliandoucette:

The AAC MVP blog post template does not include a visual indicator of committee vs non-committee posts.

What is MVP ?

  • Add a category label underneath the blog post title
    • We can consider "Committee News" and "Acceptable Ads News" categories

Consider ? Maybe ask @Lisa or @Aaron ? We need to be specific, I think.

  • Add a company badge after the post author

Will this be an optional badge ?

  • The "company" is an attribute of a "member"
  • This requires us to implement unlisted members (people who are not AAC members) (e.g. eyeo employees)

I feel like this is somehow connected to the members page. If so this will be dependent on how we implement #4850. If so I think #4850 needs to be updated.

  • Description modified (diff)
  • Priority changed from Unknown to P3

What is MVP ?

Minimum viable product.

Consider ? Maybe ask @Lisa or @Aaron ? We need to be specific, I think.

I didn't mean consider in that way. I intended to say "These are the two categories we already have... {AAC: Committee News, AA: Acceptable Ads News}"

Will this be an optional badge ?

No.

I feel like this is somehow connected to the members page.

Not really. It seems like I just did a poor job of describing this change. This is just supposed to be a category label under the title of each post that indicates whether it came from the AAC or AA (since we don't have an indicator currently). And an organization label beside each author (which does come from the meta data provided on each members page).

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

This is no longer relevant as we have moved AAC posts from aa.com
