Description
Environment
iOS 10.2.1 (14D27)
ABP v 1.1.0
Last Filter list update January 28, 2017 at 11:29am PST
Can be replicated on all iOS devices I own
How to reproduce
- add xladv.com to whitelist
- add www.thumpertalk.com to whitelist
- visit both sites in iOS safari - ads will show on xladv.com as expected, but ads remain blocked on www.thumpertalk.com while whitelisted.
...
Observed behaviour
Ads not showing on whitelisted website when sub-domain present in URL. Both sites use DFP ad server and run an identical ad setup from the same DFP account. Both sites run the same CMS system. They are essentially identical software and ad server setups on both sites. So the issue is not related to the specific ads. The only notable difference between the working site and the not working site is the site where whitelist works is accessed via a TLD (xladv.com) and the site where whitelist isn't working is a sub domain (www.thumpertalk.com)
Expected behaviour
Ads should show on www.thumpertalk.com when added to whitelist
