Page freeze whilst scrolling ABB Android

There were some reports from members of the Beta Channel that when scrolling on particular sites such as ​http://www.zdnet.com and ​http://www.theblaze.com the scrolling would freeze or jump.

The original issues were reported on an HTC One M9 Android 7.0, but I was unable to reproduce this issue in said environment. Instead, I encountered the issue on a Galaxy S4 Android 5.0.1.

The main issue here is, that when scrolling the page during or after loading, the scroll freezes for a moment and the page displays nothing, or at the least what was displayed at the beginning of the scroll, and then after some time continues to scroll.

To note, in some cases it felt like the page was being brought back to the top, even though I had not scrolled top the top.

How to reproduce

1. Navigate to ​http://www.theblaze.com
2. Select and article
3. Scroll through the page to the bottom
4. Scroll back up through the page

Observed behaviour

The page freezes when scrolling or is incredibly slow. In some cases, the user is repeatedly moved to the top of the page again.

Expected behaviour

Scrolling does not freeze.

• This occurs, but not so severely in Firefox 53.0.1.
