Environment
Firefox 29.00 says up to date
Windows Vista SP 2 fully patched
Adblock Plus 2.6 updated 02 June automatically
How to reproduce
go to ANY website in Firefox with ADblock plsu enabled
Observed behaviour
ALL sites show as text only, no backgrounds, no images, no functionality on click. Only when Adblock Plus is disabled either per site or completely will websites work or show in normal function. This was all working fine at 0200 hours June 2nd 2014 but by my boot up at 1000 hours June 2nd this problem was in evidence. As system tray loaded there was an error message about windows not being able to find a login key. This problem applies globally to all internet sites. I have removed Adblock then reinstalled from mozilla link but tbis problem persists all day. Only way to see ANY website other than in non functional text only is to completely disable Adblock Plus.
I have installed the same Adblock plus on IE9 today and this problem does NOT happen, therefore this is a FIREFOX only related issue.
Expected behaviour
Websites on Firefox should open normaly with images and functionality not as TEXT ONLY.. this problem does not happen using IE and is ONLY apparent on Firefox
