I am using Google Chrome 35.0.1916.153
My OS is windows 8
I also used Popup Blocker Classic

click continue to file
click on the play button
It pops open a window advertisement for Fema scares people or something.
Many sites where one goes to watch movies have this attempt to pop up new windows but are blocked. It appears firedrive is exempt from this blocking mechanism. I would like to see it blocked as well.

Updating EasyList manually should suffice to get rid of them: https://adblockplus.org/en/faq_basics#update-filterlists

however, try another popup blocker:
