Description (last modified by mapx)
Environment
Android 4.4.3
Chrome 35.0.1916.141
Adblock plus 1.2.1 build 318
How to reproduce
I have my device setup to block ads on multiple wifi connections and over cell network. Everything has been working fine for a while. 2 days ago, I could not connect to anything browser based while on my home wifi. The proxy is the same for all wifi connections and the cell network. "localhost" and port "2020"
When I make the proxy set to "none" it restores connection over wifi. If I turn off adblock, it doesn't fix the issue. I have to set proxy to "none"
The Chrome browser does not connect.
Other apps connect fine, such as TheChive, Netflix, etc.
Observed behaviour
Failure to establish connection when proxy server is enabled.
Expected behaviour
Reliable connection

- Platform set to Unknown
I'm sorry, but this contains too less (device, (non-)rooted) and inconsistent information (manually configured proxy but still blocking mobile) about this issue. As it is even not reproducible I'll close this issue for now.

- Platform changed from Unknown to Android
- Resolution set to rejected
- Status changed from new to closed
Please note that only rooted phones can currently block ads with Adblock Plus via mobile connections. In case your phone would be rooted, no manually configured proxy would be required at all.
Apart from that, please try the current development build and let us know, whether the problem still exists: https://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/adblockplusandroid/00latest.apk
