well, P1 was excessive
I can't test abp for android but as you can see in the thread it seems it's a recent event (not blocking such ads). A lot of users. Strange.

I tested ABP on Android some weeks ago with the YouTube app. I didn't get any ads then which might be coincidence though.
With the latest YouTube app I am getting ads (even with AdAway which worked fine before). I tried to figure out where the ads come from with Shark, added 2 generic filters but that didn't work.
Not sure what I could try now.

After further investigation it looks like the video ads are being served via HTTPS. Nothing we can do here at the moment unfortunately.

As Arthur said, we can't block ads served over HTTPS yet, closing.

How is this a P1? We were never able to block those AFAIK. P1 is for when the software doesn't work at all, real blockers. This one is more of a P3 IMO.
