Description
Background
The crawler's purpose is to check which filters are being actively used and which ones are obsolete by loading a bunch of different webpages.
What to change
In addition to the regular data collection we could collect more stats that might help us learn more about the impact of Adblock Plus on websites (e.g. by recording load times with and without Adblock Plus enabled).

What is the logical background leading you to wanting this change?
Being aware of effects of Adblock Plus to websites allows us to use this information in regard to PR, finding performance bottlenecks and allowing for more statistics inside the extension to present to users.
What means "regular data collection"?
The crawler's primary purpose is to check which filters are being used on websites and which ones are no longer needed.
Which "more stats" do you want to collect?
- page load time
- used bandwidth
- amount of requests
- amount of ad units (if possible)
- available screen real estate (if possible)
- position of ads in relation to content (if possible)
I put some relevant people in CC in case they can think of more interesting data.

Once you finished this concept and made sure, we want to actually have it, please update the actual description and set the issue ready. If we don't want to have it, please invalidate the issue.

This issue is described in a very general manner, with makes it rather a rough draft of an idea than an implementable issue. Feel free to make it more specific and discuss, whether this is actually wanted before reopening.
