We now use TestFlight to check data migration as it represents more of a realistic approach to the upgrade process of iTunes app to newly released iTunes apps.
Over the latest testing round, we have been installing the latest iTunes version (1.3.2) and testing migration to the latest release candidate (1.4.0).
During all of these tests, we were unable to recreate the migration issues as stated in this ticket. During the migration process, all data, history and settings were saved and the app functioned as normal.
