How to reproduce

  1. Browse any website with links, eg. web.de
  2. Hover some links

Observed behaviour

The ABP icon flickers.

Expected behaviour

The ABP icon should not flicker but stay displayed continuously.

There is no flickering when the cursor is motionless in the hover region of a link. The flickering occurs when the cursor enters or exits the hover region of a link.

The current code does not keep track of the current display state of the icon. Instead, it redraws the icon every time its display state might possibly change.
