Description (last modified by mapx)
Environment
ABP 1.2, IE 11, Windows 7
How to reproduce
The ADBLOCK PLUS HAS BEEN UPDATED screen shows up every time I access IE.
C:\Program Files\Adblock Plus for IE\html\templates\firstRun.html
reported here:
https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=24502
another report:
Since installing v1.2 for IE, every time I start my browser inside sandboxie (IE9,Vista)
the first run loads every time in a new window, plus it also keeps changing the
"Allow some non-intrusive advertising" setting back to the default (enabled), every time IE starts inside sandboxie.
I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling and it still does this.
This only happens when the browser is run inside sandboxie.

- Priority changed from P3 to P4
- Ready set
Lowering priority, since it is a thirdparty software that is infuencing ABP for IE here.

I dont know how to create a ticket. I dont see the issue I am having. For some reason, my Adblock Plus for Android wont finish configuring.
I have the most annoying ads that pop up when not in my browser and had hoped this would take care of it.
I would really like someone to fix this so I can wake my phone up and start using it without being redirected to Google Play or some online "your phone has a virus" site.
Sorry if I wasnt supposed to write here, but I am at my wits end. I had a family emergency the other day and almost downloaded malware, had to get out of the site, then respond to my mother 10 minutes later because I couldnt use my phone until I was out of the site completely.
From some relatively quick research on the topic, the most relevant pages seem to be these:
My first surmise is that the plugin is running under the IE sandbox and the engine running in a separate one. I have not tried to run IE+ABP under Sandboxie to verify this.
