Environment

Sony Ericsson Xperia T Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
Rooted device: Yes
ABP version 1.2.1.331 build#331

How to reproduce

  1. Launch ABP app
  2. Filtering is ON
  1. Go to Advanced Settings
  2. Click check for update
  3. Click back
  4. This time set filtering to off
  5. Go to Advanced Settings
  6. Click check for update

Observed behaviour

When filtering is on: nothing happened

When filtering is off: "Unfortunately, Adblock Plus has stopped" message shown, then it automatically launch the app again

Expected behaviour

Check for update should work properly

Thank you for updating the issue.
Parts of the bug are already known (ticket #723) but as the crash is not mentioned there, I accept your issue for now.
