I need more RAM for my notebook

Description
My notebook (Lenovo W540) runs on 20 Gb RAM now, but I already came to the limits, because I work a lot with serverlogs and have to load them into RAM to process them. If I work parallel on 4 logs with 4 Gb each, it is already at the limit. Furthermore I want to try the proof of concept to adapt the computation on the stats server (which has 32Gb RAM).
Please install additional 12 Gb RAM on my laptop therefore.

I opened the notebook today and it actually has 2x8GB and 1x4GB and one empty slot.
So I will order 2x8GB.

For reference: W540 has four memory slots. I guess that it has 2x8GB and 2x2GB right now. So the 2GB DIMMs have to be replaced by 8GB ones. Better than throwing away all of them, these aren't exactly cheap...
