There appears to be a bug in my version of the adblock plus extension, as there is a 20-30 second delay in blocking ads when i first log on to google and yahoo mail! This slows down my browser, at first, but then corrects itself. Disabling the filters has no effect, and 'allow some none intrusive ads' is unchecked. Also disabling other extensions/plug-ings has no effect.
What has gone wrong with adblock plus on firefox to cause this problem?

Mass-closing all bugs in Adblock Plus for Firefox module, the codebase of Adblock Plus 3.0 belongs into Platform and User-Interface modules. Old bugs are unlikely to still apply.
Made Firefox and Firefox mobile available as seperate platforms.
