I mean the "TOOLBAR ICON"!

Because it disappeared sometimes back, I do not know when and why.
First I tried adding it by rightclick the Toolbar and cdustomize the Toolbar.
It stays there then until restarting Firefox, then it is gone again.
Then I tried it by call the add-on Manager, open the adblock settings and set adblock icon in toolbar to on. It appears and stays until restarting Firefox then it is off again.

All Files in the Profile Folder have sufficient rights.
I dont get any error messages.

I have this same issue. I have removed and reinstalled the plugin to no avail. I have this same problem on my laptop as well.

The toolbar icon disappears on restart. The checkbox to display the ABP button in the addon options will uncheck itself on restart. Click the checkbox and it immediately reappears where it was previously.

I've tried removing it from the toolbar and re-adding it, but it still disappear every time I close FF and start it again.

I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop, and Win 7 Home on my laptop.

And to clarify, I've have tried disabling all other plugins except ABP, and this still happens. It's been happening for at least the last two updates of ABP and for several version of FF.

And I looked at ticket #190 and that's not the issue I'm experiencing.

I'm sorry, but I tried this again with a clean Kubuntu from a live-image, FF 28 and ABP 2.5.1, one case with the ABP icon in the Addon bar, which is the default after installation, and one case with having set it to the tool bar right left of the home icon via customize option of the tool bar. In both cases, the icon was right there were I placed it before the restart of Firefox. I also tried with Ubuntu 12.04, but also no results there.
