Description (last modified by greiner)

Background

The idea is to make ABP icon accept drag-and-drop events when image is dragged on top of it. ABP should initiate standard block/hide dialog for the dropped image. It seems like more obvious functionality on tablets and other hand-held devices. Could be useful on desktop devices too.

What to change

ABP icon should accept drag-and-drop events in at least Firefox.

This won't be possible in Chrome, Opera and Safari because we're quite limited by what we can do there regarding UI interaction i.e. we can change the icon image, set the icon badge text, set the icon tooltip and react to left-clicks on the icon. Therefore I changed this issue to only mention Firefox.

  • Resolution set to rejected
  • Status changed from new to closed

Mass-closing all bugs in Adblock Plus for Firefox module, the codebase of Adblock Plus 3.0 belongs into Platform and User-Interface modules. Old bugs are unlikely to still apply.
