Hmm pity, would've preferred trac not to list the url to avoid referrer tracking

Do you still see that issue? I tried reproducing with Adblock Plus 2.7.3.4174-beta in Firefox 50.0a1 nightly (2016-06-07) on Mac OS X - according to blockable items, this request is already blocked by EasyList. There is a slight Mac-only complication due to bug 1187099, the script in question will only fall back to Web Sockets if it detects Adblock Plus via an element hiding honeypot - if element hiding is broken no Web Sockets request will show up. But once I work around this issue with a Firefox profile outside ~/Library I cannot see any issues.
