Background
We are making all of our user numbers and download numbers consistent across our websites / product descriptions etc. Therefore, the short description in of Adblock Plus for Chrome, Opera and Safari needs to be updated too. (see more info in issue #4037)
What to change
Change the description string in _locales/en_US/messages.json from:
Used by over 50 million people, a free ad blocker that blocks ALL annoying ads, malware and tracking.
to:
Used on over 100 million devices, Adblock Plus is the world's most popular ad blocker.

Please don't make the description even longer than it already is. The maximum length for the description is 132 characters, and that applies to all languages, while most languages are less concise than English. We already had problems translating the old description (101 characters) into some languages, so making it even longer is a very bad idea.

This is 15 words, 84 characters.

Great, thanks Lisa! The only thing I'd like to have in there is the word "Ad blocker". We know that this is a popular search query, and we may miss out on an SEO opportunity if we are removing the word "Ad blocker" from the short description.
Any thoughts on how to integrate this?

If there are no objections, I'd go with the latter. Due to the maximum length requirement, see above, as shorter it is as better it can be translated.

I noticed the new string is longer (120 characters vs 100), but the string's description mentions that anything up to 132 is OK. Marking as ready despite the mentioned issue #4307 seeming to be wrong.
