Description
Background
Entering usernames into the CC box on Trac is very frustrating:
- It automatically corrects usernames incorrectly sometimes
- @adblockplus.org users are always at the bottom of the suggestion list
- It often suggests (and changes, if clicked) corrections for previous users in the comma separated list
- One must press escape repeatedly to escape suggestions and auto-correcting
- It doesn't indicate incorrect usernames
What to change
TBD. (I don't know if this was fixed in an updated version of Trac or an extension.)

This ticket mixes up many potential issues in a change request instead of properly describing a single bug which one might be able to investigate, so by form, this is unfixable anyways. even if I would dig into this, you'd probably be dissatisfied, since it's a plugin's functionality, which isn't that well maintained. If you feel like some of your observations earn a deeper investigation, please file single bug tickets for what you found.
Most of these issues are due to Trac having too many spammer accounts messing up results and due to autocomplete functionality being very slow because of too many spammer accounts. So it mostly boils down to cleaning out spammer accounts, and I think that Matze created a cronjob for that? Doesn't look like it's working.
