Environment

macOS 10.12.6 (16G29)
Safari 10.1.2 (12603.3.8)
Adblock Plus 1.12.4 RuAdList+EasyList

How to reproduce

  1. Enable several filter lists
  2. Close Safari
  3. Start Safari and hold down space bar

...

Observed behaviour

At first you can see how spaces appear in address bar, then a second later, Safari stops responding for a few seconds and finally Safari becomes usable again.

Expected behaviour

It looks like the more lists you have enabled the more time it needs at startup to read them blocking Safari.
It would be nice to completely eliminate this lag.
