Environment

ABP 2.99.0.1838beta
Firefox 54/55 / Windows 7

How to reproduce

  1. Install ABP WebExtension build.
  2. Open extension debug console.

Observed behaviour

Firefox 55/54:
If a fresh install, with extension data deleted the following error occurs. If re-installed with existing data still present, the error does not occur.

Unchecked lastError value: Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist ExtensionCommon.jsm:265

Not sure if it breaks any functionality or not.

Expected behaviour

Error to not occur.
