Background

We started working on the new options page in #1524 to create a basic framework which we can build upon. For that we haven't considered accessibility yet. Having the goal of providing feature-parity with the current version of the options page, we should at least add basic aids such as tab ordering and keyboard bindings for interactive elements to improve accessibility.
