Description

When you attempt to include ​certain characters in the text you submit,

On the issue tracker, the text is truncated at the character in question. Everything that comes after it doesn't appear. For example, this botched comment:

On the forum, the post cannot be submitted. The following error is displayed:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\x80' for column 'topic_title' at row 1 [1366]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
