Android 4.2.2
Firefox for Android / 29.0.1
Firefox for Android / 38.0

How to reproduce

  1. Visit ​​https://adblockplus.org/
  2. Select the [Hamburger menu] icon in the header.
  3. Select the search field above the language selector.
  4. Enter some text.
  5. Observe the text is not visible.
  6. Observe it's still possible to select the text/perform the search.

Observed behaviour

Text entered into the search field is not visible.

Expected behaviour

Text entered into the search field to be visible.

I can reproduce this, but it is also broken on the old site and therefore not a blocker for the migration.
